She is Turkish who was born in 1990, in Beirut, Lebanon. At the age of two she got an amputation in her right leg due to a stray bullet. At age of eight she started playing basketball at school, but at age of 11 she was obliged to stop playing sports and she realized her limitation, after she broke her amputated leg while balling. In 2013 she graduated from Holy Spirit University in Beirut with a bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. But she decided to follow her passion for basketball and chose to continue her master's in Nutrition and Sports Physiology at Saint Joseph University in Beirut. In 2018 she became the first fitness coach with a prosthetic leg after two years full of hardworking, bullying, and doubters. In addition, she was enrolled in many certificates and attended many conferences for Strength and Conditioning coaches in Europe.In July 2018 she was part of the fitness staff for the Lebanese national basketball team, under coach Slobodan Subotic, during the qualification rounds for the World Cup. In December 2018 she achieved one of her dreams by an internship in Fenerbahce B.C. and met her idol Zeljko Obradovic. This adventure gave her academic knowledge and professionalism and the power and motivation to believe in herself to never give up.Her vision is to become the first strength and conditioning coach with a prosthetic leg in the Euroleague and to promote the inclusion of persons with a disability within the society and light the important role of women in the sports industry.
